Go back to the full pageWhat is in-home support?
We come to your home.
You choose the times.
We can help you shower and get dressed.
We can help with household tasks.
We can help you cook.
We can help you learn.
For example, how to cook a meal.
Then you can do it yourself.
Your workers
We ask what you like.
We ask what language you speak.
You can tell us if you want a man or a woman.
We will tell you if we cannot do it.
We try to send the same workers.
Then they get to know you.
Getting started
First we write a plan with you.
The plan says how we will help.
On the first day, your worker says hello.
They ask how you like things done.
Tell us if something is wrong.
You will not get in trouble.
Who can help
A person you trust can help you.
This can be family, a friend or an advocate.
They can read this with you.
Your support coordinator can help.
A support coordinator helps you use your NDIS plan.
You can talk to us.
