Services

Three ways we support you

Support at home, support in the home you already have, and support out in the world. Use one, or put them together around your week.

Side by side

How the three compare

A general guide. What you can use depends on your plan, and the NDIA decides what is funded.

Together

How the three work together

Most people do not fit neatly into one box, and they do not have to. These examples are illustrations, not real people, but they show how support can be put together.

  • Supported Independent LivingCommunity participation

Living in SIL, out on Saturdays

Daily support at home with housemates, plus a regular Saturday swim and travel training on the bus. Community support is usually funded separately from SIL.

  • In-home supportCommunity participation

At home with family, building skills

Help with personal care most mornings, a weekly cooking session to learn a few meals, and an art class with a small group.

  • In-home support

    Just the mornings

A familiar worker for the morning routine, four days a week. Nothing more, because nothing more is needed.

One team, if you want it. When you use more than one of our services, the people supporting you can share what they need to know, with your permission, so you do not have to repeat yourself.

Your choice, always. You can use other providers for any part of your plan, and your support never depends on where you live. Read your choice, protected and our standards.

Also available

Other supports we are registered for

Alongside our three main services, we are registered with the NDIS Commission for these supports. Whether they suit you depends on your goals and what the NDIA has funded in your plan.

  • Help with travel and transport

Getting to work, appointments, classes and community activities, with a worker who drives you or travels with you. Transport is usually funded from Core supports, and how it is set out can differ from plan to plan.

  • Support through a life stage transition

Short-term help to plan for and manage a big change, such as leaving school, moving out of the family home or coming home after a hospital stay. It is about working out what you need and getting the right supports in place, and is usually funded from Capacity Building.

  • Building life skills

Hands-on help to learn the skills for a more independent life, like cooking a few meals, managing money, using public transport or looking after your home. It is usually funded from Capacity Building, and the aim is to do more for yourself over time.

Questions

Questions about our services

Can I use more than one of your services?

Yes. Many people use two, for example Supported Independent Living at home and community participation for activities. Each is funded from the part of your plan that fits it.

Do I have to use Manora Care for everything?

No. You can use us for one part of your plan and other providers for the rest. Your support never depends on using another of our services. Read your choice, protected.

Which service is right for me?

It depends on where you live, how much support you need and what you want from your week. Our find the right support guide asks four short questions, or you can simply talk to us.

What does it cost?

Our services are usually funded from your NDIS plan, and prices must sit within the limits in the NDIS Pricing Schedule 2026–27. Rent, food, bills and the cost of activities are paid by you. Read how our pricing works.

Who decides what is in my plan?

The NDIA decides what is funded in your plan, not us. We can help you understand what your plan says, and your support coordinator can help too.

Is there an Easy Read version?

Yes. Every service has an Easy Read version with short sentences and pictures. See Easy Read.

Let’s talk about the support you want.
